About the Authors
Patrick R. Murray is a professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota Medical School. He is the author of more than 20 books, including the widely acclaimed Medical Microbiology, 7th edition, and the newly released 9th edition. He has also authored numerous articles and chapters in leading academic and professional publications.
Ken S. Rosenthal is a professor at the University of Wisconsin Medical School and is an internationally recognized expert in medical microbiology. He has authored numerous textbooks and articles on medical microbiology and is the co-author of Medical Microbiology, 9th edition.
Michael A. Pfaller is a professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. He is the author of several textbooks, including the Clinical Microbiology Procedures Handbook, and has authored numerous articles in leading journals and books.
